Review: I open the
book begins to read and I find myself thinking "Oh God, I will not continue. I is already too willing." Yes, because when feel that a book I really like, when that book takes me back the same feelings that I experienced as a child, when each book was an exciting adventure, here it is at that moment that I know that the hardest part you have to accept that the book will end. Beastly, during the reading, more would be over too quickly ...
E 'was really an exciting adventure, concentrated in 24 hours.
I loved everything.
It 's the wonderful story of Beauty and the Beast, in modern version. And the author respects, without twist excessively, without betraying it. And in so doing we might have expected a story for granted: after all we all know how to proceed and how will this tale.
But the beautiful fairytale is not it that? It is not that wonderful happy ending we all seek? Those tests are not difficult to tackle, those dragons potercelo then deserve to be defeated??
And that is how Kyle, a boy, egotistical, shallow, selfish and conceited what is found victim of the spell of a witch. He lost a stroke beauty, security, friends and family.
We know that readers will do it, which eventually will change and become a better person and you will win for a happily ever after, but not prevent us from getting angry with him and ill treatment of his father, shaking him for his love for the beautiful Lindy, to wish and hope with him and him change. reflections, simple but true, that we find to do when reading are for a 34 year old like me as an adolescent or child, or a more mature person.
Fairy tales do not have age, you know. And this tale, this version deserves to be told again and again. And read even more.
small additional note: the characters of Will and Magda are very special and I was enchanted. (Let's say that enchants me is the simplicity of this book). It enchants me the library for Kyle prediscpone Lindy ... but what the reader would love?
And, just to not be too stingy in compliments;) the cover has all my esteem. Because it's really beautiful and especially because it has its meaning. I mean not just a cover put there to attract the reader, but an integral part of the story so ... nice shot!
